Species #1 Ring-billed Gull

Officially the First Entry into CD 1000 - everybody’s favorite McDonald’s parking lot gull (except if you live in the South, but Laughing Gull will be following soon…) To be perfectly honest, a breeding plumage Ring-billed Gull is a VERY handsome bird, and this one in non-breeding plumage is pretty sharp, too.
Photo taken on the beach at Daytona Beach, FL, as it waited for me to throw something edible its way. I didn’t.
